Our Services
Speech & Language Evaluations
We provide thorough speech and language evaluations to understand your child’s communication strengths and challenges. Our evaluations may include:
Standardized Testing: Formal assessments to measure speech, language, fluency, voice, and oral-motor skills.
Informal Evaluation: Play-based activities, language sampling, and functional communication assessment—ideal for younger children or when formal testing isn't appropriate.
Parent Interviews: We value your insights and include detailed discussions to understand your child’s development, daily communication, and your concerns.
Observations: In-home/community observations to assess real-life communication skills.
Every evaluation includes a written report, individualized recommendations, and a consultation to review results and next steps
Our speech therapy sessions are personalized, play-based, and focused on helping your child make meaningful progress in everyday communication. We provide services in the comfort of your home or at mutually agreed-upon community locations such as libraries, or parks—where your child feels most comfortable and engaged.
Therapy includes:
One-on-one sessions tailored to your child’s goals
Fun, functional activities that support real-life communication
Parent coaching and collaboration
Regular progress updates and home practice strategies
We work closely with families to create a supportive and effective therapy experience that fits your schedule and your child’s unique needs.

Who
we are
Hi, I’m Alexis Montemarano, M.S., CCC-SLP, a licensed and ASHA-certified pediatric speech-language pathologist.
I’m passionate about helping children become confident, effective communicators. Whether it’s a toddler saying their first words, a preschooler working on speech sounds, or a school-age child learning to express themselves more clearly—I love being part of those breakthroughs.
I specialize in working with children who experience speech sound disorders, language delays, stuttering, social communication challenges, and those who benefit from AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). My approach is child-centered, play-based, and always tailored to your child’s unique strengths and needs.
I believe that parents and caregivers are key partners in the therapy process. I’ll work closely with you to set meaningful goals, celebrate progress, and support communication growth in everyday life.
Thank you for trusting me to be part of your child’s journey—I’m so glad you’re here.
